How did he or she propose?
He secretly invited my whole family to a cabin in the mountains. I thought I was going up to the cabin with my best friends for a girls weekend trip. When we got there my whole family was there and he was down on his knee ready to propose.
Top 3 tips for future brides:
1: Relax! All the little details really aren’t that important!
2: Trust your gut. If you feel a certain way about something, act on it! Don’t second guess your choices.
3: Enjoy the day! It really goes by fast like everyone says it does. Try to slow down and enjoy the moments!
Any personal or special touches that helped make your wedding memorable?
We hired a live harpist and singer for our ceremony who are good friends of ares. Such a special added touch to the ceremony that meant a lot. Also, choosing to have your officiant be someone you actually know makes it a lot more special and I am so happy we did that.
The best thing about the day?
Marrying my best friend! Getting to dress up and feel so beautiful and special. Sharing our love to each other and making this commitment.
Did anything go wrong?
Not really! A couple small things here and there but everything went great!
The Location: Why did you select this location?
Sterling Hills Golf Course with Wedgewood Weddings: Honestly it was beautiful and had the ceremony space and reception space we were looking for and it fit our budget! lol
The Planning: How long did you have? Any help? What resources did you use?
We planned the whole thing in 9 months! Honestly once we picked the venue, because its an all-inclusive venue, it made the planning an absolute breeze! They provided us with all the information we needed to book everything!
